Very intense and inviting rosewater lime-blossom floral aroma overlying the sweet spice of oak and the honeyed orange marmalade botrytis notes. But it is the fresh and floral quality that is most marked, which is often the case with Coutet. Mouthfilling and rich without being cloying (not stated, estimate 140g/L) balanced by a cut of fresh zesty acidity. There is huge depth and complexity on the expansive palate here and everything is beautifully stitched together by the wonderful acidity. Creamy and full multi-layered finish. Truly fine.
