Coutet: 95 % Sémillon, 4 % Sauvignon Blanc, 1 % Muscadelle. Multi-layered bouquet, fresh pear pulp, stewed mirabelle plums and lime blossom honey. Candied figs and tangerine oil in the second attack. On the complex palate with an oily texture, underlying race, intoxicating, finely peppery extract fullness and a sophisticated body. In the aromatic, long-lasting finish, the Barsac sets off a veritable firework display: ripe mango, guava, grapefruit zest and créme brulée. A really great Barsac, one of the best sweet wines of this year. WW 19+/20 Drinking window: 2026 – 2070
