Château Coutet 2019: 96/100

Coutet 2019 is more like a “modern aesthetics Sauternes” with less heaviness and more precision. The nose delivers a scent of seabuckthorn that only exists in the Northwest of China, coupled with layers of saffron and curry after swirling the glass. On the palate, candied kumquats and dried apricot are adorned with a tinge of ginger slice, contributing more glories to the colorful mouth feeling.
